Spyro Reignited: 8 Bosses We Can't Wait To Fight

Those nostalgia glands are really starting to throb now! Toasty was the first Spyro boss ever, and while he's not especially taxing, he's a great introduction to the games following a couple of fairly simply levels.

Toys For Bob have hardly put a foot wrong in their marketing. The slight delay was well received, as they're being trusted to fully recreate every single aspect of Spyro, and fans are willing to wait. Some of the redesigns of beloved characters have caused a minor stir, but nothing out of the usual from a huge fanbase of diverse opinions. It's no wonder then, that Toasty featured heavily in the early teasers of the game. They knew this boss was one that would incite fervent excitement.

The little twist was a great early signal of Spyro's humour too, with the shepherd in fact being a sheep on stilts with a pumpkin for a head. This boss battle is an absolute cakewalk. If you're looking for a trial and error test that sees you honing your skills for hours on end like Chaos Witch Quelaag, you won't find it here. But if you want a good time, you've come to the right place.
