Spyro Reignited: 8 Bosses We Can't Wait To Fight

Guh-nasty Guh-norc, as he’s called in the opening cutscene of Spyro The Dragon, is definitely the boss most fans can’t wait to vanquish. The dragons were right about him being ugly, but as for simple and no threat? He certainly proved them wrong there.

For many kids, Spyro The Dragon was the first game they ever beat. Reliving that in Reignited is going to be oh so sweet. Even for kids of today, or adults who missed out the first time around, beating Gnasty will still mark a sense of triumph.

Spyro isn’t Cuphead level difficulty. Many would even say it’s easier than Crash, for the most part. But despite often being lumped together as console mascots, Crash and Spyro were very different games. This boss battle is hardly a battle at all; instead it's a chase sequence, recalling Cortex's disappointing finale in Crash 2. While that was wedged into Crash unnecessarily, charging and chasing was a core part of Spyro. It makes sense that speed beats Gnasty. He overpowered the strongest dragons at the beginning of the game easily.

It's not a boss battle in the traditional sense. But the dopamine release that comes with defeating him easily takes the top spot.
