Star Wars: 10 Games We Want To See From EA

1. A Game Where You Play As The Villain

Games are where we release our pent up anger without it harming anyone. Had a hard day at the office? Murder some pedestrians on Grand Theft Auto to ease the tension. Got money worries? Fire up Battlefront 2 and let off some steam by sniping a few Ewoks. And nothing offers greater catharsis than playing the villain. So let's have a game where you're the bad guy. Not a choice to be the bad guy and not a story where the bad guy redeems himself. Just full on playing the villain. Back in 2002, Bounty Hunter (a game where you play as Jango Fett) provided us with this but Fett was kind of an anti-villain, killing and capturing people for money rather than power or fun. In fact, the only games where you can really be ruthless and evil throughout are the Knights Of The Old Republic games and The Old Republic. And even then, it's a matter of choice. Star Wars offers a huge number of options for playing as a bad guy. Slave traffickers, Sith Lords, evil military commanders. There's a lot of scope to a villain focussed game. And if you want to base a game like this on an existing villain, there are dozens you could use as the main character. Darth Maul immediately springs to mind as one. Particularly after his reappearance in The Clone Wars TV series. What Star Wars games do you want EA to make? Leave a comment...
