Star Wars Battlefront: 10 Crucial Tips & Tricks You Need To Know
10. Adapt Your Loadout To Each Map
Battlefront, though short on content as a whole, has some great map design and variety. Long-range fighting can quickly evolve into close quarters battles over key choke points, and that makes certain loudouts redundant in different situations. There are a multitude of blasters and 'Star Cards' to choose from, so varying your gameplay style is essential in order to dominate the scoreboard. Weapons like the E-11 and the Cycler Rifle are fantastic at dominating mid to long-range engagements, especially when perched high above on Endor's forest moon. These maps also have fast-paced interiors however, and more often than not these can descend into chaotic skirmishes where the fire-rate of your blaster is just as important as the grenades you are carrying. I've not spent enough time in the game to comment on every weapon's effectiveness in varying scenarios, but blaster pistols and the Rebel Alliance's carbine prove to be highly effective when faced with multiple enemies and little room to manoeuvre. It's important to note that one size does not fit all however, so you may need to experiment with different weapons to really find the best close/long-range balance to take into combat.
