3. Turret-Control Is Vital

This speaks more to Hoth than any other map, but whether you're defending or attacking, it is vital that you control the main turrets in the area. Rebel attacks on the Imperial Walkers are amplified by the various 'dish' turrets located strategically around the map, as they score major hit-points when they find their target. Likewise the anti-personal turrets are essential to slowing down the pace of the impending Imperial advance, and their deadly firepower can even be used against the rebels themselves. This becomes notably troublesome in the final stages of the map, where both Rebels and Stormtroopers are pushed out into the open to reach their objectives. If you can't hold onto a turret it's best to destroy it so the other team can't use it. They're not as strategically important on other maps, but their usefulness really can't be overstated on places like Hoth.
