First made playable in Battlefront's original sequel, 'Heroes' are already proving to be an added bonus for those lucky enough to acquire their power up. (just ignore Luke's canonically inaccurate robes and laser-sword) Though almost certainly a rare occurrence, the moment when two of these characters come to blows is absolutely fantastic, as lightsabers clash and players engage in a button-mashing contest to outdo the other. It's a bit of a dynamic departure from Battlefront II's 'slash and hope for the best' mechanic, though luck is still the predominant factor in seeing how these encounters play out. No doubt other hero encounters will be just as entertaining when the game ships this November, but with the announcement of a new Hero mode heading our way it would appear as though they're getting a much bigger focus this time around.
