Star Wars Battlefront: 11 Reasons It's A Big Disappointment

10. Single-Player Is Worthless

Unlike an increasing number of games, Battlefront does have a single-player mode...kinda? No, there's no campaign, but there are two major modes which can be played offline: Battles (simplistic shoot-outs against the computer) and Survival (a Horde mode-esque wave attack), both of which allow play with a buddy via split-screen, or with a friend online. Unfortunately they're both pretty boring and there's not much of an incentive to keep coming back, while the game for some reason doesn't allow the player to play Walker Assault offline too, which would add a huge amount of value to those who, for one reason or another, don't want to go online. Also, while we're on the subject, why on Earth doesn't Survival mode have an online counterpart? Teaming up with three or four human players against a giant wave of enemies would be a ton more fun. But yes, if you for some reason would rather play against bots or just live in an Internet-free wasteland, this is not the game for you.
