2. Group Commands & Team-Based Gameplay?

Not a gameplay mechanic detail on its face, but EA have confirmed the casting of nerd-favourite Paul Blackthorne (Arrow, The Flash) as another member of the main team, Inferno Squad.

We're getting a tie-in novel that'll introduce and flesh out the Squad in July, though extremely interesting is that it establishes the Squad formed "in the aftermath of Rogue One", meaning as a team they were active throughout the entire trilogy. In the trailer we see they're stationed on Endor when the Death Star 2 goes up, kickstarting the revenge narrative that'll assumedly dominate both Iden Versio and her team's mindset.

To that end, the Squad are clearly extremely close at this point, so don't be surprised if Battlefront 2 comes with a handful of "Go here", "Fire at will", "Hold position"-type commands.
