Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Things DICE Must Add
6. Overhaul The Spawning System
For as basic as some claimed the Battlefront reboot to be, by the time all was said and done, it was actually quite a fully fledged package - providing players were prepared to fork out for 4 DLC packs.
Classes where nowhere to be seen, but this meant players could play how they wanted - which of course meant that everyone rocked jetpacks.
Why is this important? Well if everyone has jetpacks, then poor spawn placement doesn't become much of an issue. However, in Battlefront 2 the jetpack is locked to the Aerial class, which means death will be followed up by minutes of aimlessly running to the objective at hand.
DICE has implemented a team spawning system, but of course, if a team member is in battle, this becomes redundant. When playing a game entirely focused on battles, it can become a bit frustrating.
So, how could this be fixed?
Well, how about instead of dropping players into totally random parts of the map, maybe break it up into sections - providing they're within your team's controlled area. That... or just the choice to spawn on the left or the right.
