Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Things Fans Need To See

7. The New Trilogy Fairly Represented

Again, I properly love the Original Trilogy, but Star Wars is so much more than just those three films. The franchise's transcendental qualities have allowed it to spin-off into about a dozen cross-medium interpretations, but if any releases outside the Original Trilogy have resonated the most, it would have to be The Force Awakens.

This film was just so good. So much so that I was stunned to find out that it wouldn't be in the first Battlefront. It seems as though that'll be changing for the sequel however, as EA head honcho Blake Jorgensen said that "the new movies" will undoubtedly be featuring.

So, great news for those worried that we wouldn't be getting content from the new films in Battlefront II. Given we're getting the Scarif DLC for Rogue One in but a month's time, it made sense that content from the latest trilogy would be coming sooner rather than later.

It's just nice to have confirmation, I guess.
