Star Wars Battlefront 2: 12 Features EA Must Add
11. Better Matchmaking In General
Sticking with the Matchmaking, not only should EA be looking at giving players a little more control over what they play, but it wouldn’t hurt to diversify the process altogether. Modes such as Strike and Blast don’t tend to have this problem, but with the multiplayer's larger modes, Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault, each map has to be played twice, once as Good, another as Evil.
Considering that matches can take an average of 30 minutes to complete, the fact that you're then put back into the same map for another 30 minutes can feel like a bit of a bummer. Other than a Faction change, there is minimal difference.
Again, it all comes down to personal preference, but switching up maps more regularly rather than sticking with the same one for two matches is another small fix that would benefit players greatly.
EA could take this further and allow players to join a server that not only switches up maps, but switches up modes. After completing a Galactic Assault match on Hoth, you could next be fighting around the Death Star in Starfighter Assault. There have already been rumours about a Clone Wars server, which could mean EA is looking into this concept already.
