8. Chewbacca
Criminally missing from the roster of the previous game at launch (how can you release a Star Wars game all about the original trilogy and not include Chewy?!), according to the leaked roster Chewbacca looks to be making his first appearance outside of DLC in the new Battlefront series this November.
And by the sounds of things his primary weapon, the bowcaster, will be just as powerful as it was in The Force Awakens. The only problem is that it'll need to be fully charged before it can take down enemies in one hit.
Thankfully, one of his abilities overheats the weapon, allowing Chewy to fire off fully-charged shots without the need for any prep time.
His other powers include a cluster grenade that can cause a mini barrage of explosions, as well as a huge AOE attack that deals massive damage to nearby players.
With that in mind it doesn't look like Chewy's going to be useful in helping other players with buffs or support, but in terms of sheer brute strength the hero might be one of the strongest characters in Battlefront 2.
