2. It Will Tie-In Directly With The Force Awakens
A rarity of the LucasArts era, EA's Battlefront will apparently tie-in to the opening of The Force Awakens - giving movie-goers the opportunity to experience the film's opening a month prior to its big screen début. A prominent feature of the latter half of the campaign, Battlefront's storyline will intersect with the events of Episode VII both before and during the film's narrative. This speaks volumes to the title's significance, and perhaps lends weight to the theories surrounding John Boyega's character being a disaffected Stormtrooper - just how much will Battlefront impact The Force Awakens' storyline? Only time will tell. Though many Star Wars purists may be a little upset by the as yet to be judged sequel taking a priority at the end of the campaign, The Force Awakens looks to be a return to form for the Star Wars film franchise - its success can only impact on Battlefront in a good way.
