Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Ways It Can Save The Franchise
9. Reintroduce Survival
What happened to the Survival mode? It was inarguably the first Battlefront's best single-player feature.
Although it may have been a fairly simple inclusion, it provided a great base for both cooperative and single-player fun and it also provided plenty of replay value.
To be completely fair to Battlefront 2 it did introduce an option called Onslaught that allowed players to take on as many enemies as they could for as long as possible.
Onslaught was much more similar to the typical horde mode seen in many multiplayer games, but the first Battlefront's survival mode was so much more than that.
Survival put players in a map where they have to try and fend off an increasingly difficult amount of enemies, with occasional supply drops providing powerful weapons to use. Not only that but it also included challenges and collectibles to find, all of which made it seem a lot more fleshed out than Battlefront 2's replacement.
EA certainly have a lot of issues to fix for Battlefront 3, but one thing that could improve the general experience is having more single-player content. Survival mode is a great way of starting the improvements.
