Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Ways To Make The Perfect Sequel
1. Re-Tool The Class System, Battle Points, And Polish Vehicles
Battlefront 2's battle points system is a marked improvement on the token-based... thing that was present in Battlefront 2015, but it isn't without its flaws.
Ensuring players get an opportunity to play as heroes or other special units on a regular enough basis is basically an impossible task, but for the most part, battle points get the job done. It's rare you'll go more than a couple of games without getting the chance at being a hero, but that doesn't mean there isn't an issue of players camping the spawn screen rather than playing the objective.
In truth, I don't know quite what the solution for this is. The best players should be rewarded, but no one should be able to hog a given character for an entire game.
Elsewhere, Battlefront 3 needs to integrate its classes more fully. With Battlefield, there's a sort of inter-reliance between all the classes (bar maybe Recon), whereas with Battlefront (bar maybe the Officer), players are encouraged to go do their own thing.
The game needs more teamwork, and while there aren't easy answers, it's something to maybe bear in mind for the next title.
Oh, and fix the clipping issue with vehicles next time. Lagging around the map on a hover tank is horrifically janky.
