Star Wars Battlefront: 8 Big Things It Must Learn From The Older Games

8. Give Bots A Presence

Now now, I know DICE's Battlefront does in fact have an offline mode with bots, but these 'missions' aren't of the same mould players of the original series will know of. Sure, these missions are more than welcomed in a title entirely devoid of a story component, but they aren't an alternative to Battlefront's massive online arenas in the same way that the games of old were. Whilst the original series had a large online community, many players (myself included) who lacked the ability to get online were more than satisfied with playing the game solo or with a friend, as all the maps included could be played against and with bots. Co-Op is always a great thing to include in a title (especially since it's abandoned so often in favour of PVP combat), but taking things to the next level and allowing the new game's arenas to be played offline with a friend of your choosing would be a surefire way to entice fans back into the fold of Star Wars games.
