Star Wars Battlefront: 8 Big Things It Must Learn From The Older Games

7. The Clone Wars Are Worth Revisiting

Say what you will about the prequels, (let's face it, they don't hold a candle to the original trilogy) but they certainly had a brilliant setting in the Clone Wars. Explored by two critically acclaimed animated shows (both more than worth a watch), the clones were one of the original two Battlefront's best factions, and featured in a predominant bulk of Battlefront II's story campaign. As the mould of Jango Fett, the troopers of the 501st and beyond possessed an element of badassery not quite emulated by their Imperial counterparts, and their presence will be sorely missed as the new revamp pushes its focus solely onto the original saga and Disney's newest slate of films. One can only hope that Battlefront's inevitable sequel manages to throw some love to the Clone Wars, as it's a setting with a massive amount of variety that's simply begging to be explored on the newest batch of consoles.
