Star Wars Battlefront: 9 Big Worries Nobody's Talking About

9. No Friends Allowed (Squads)

For being such a small feature, the ability to form a squad consisting of cherry-picked friends, family or acquaintances is a huge boon for the tactically-minded gamer; and one that's going to be sorely lacking in Star Wars Battlefront. If you're a proponent of the 'run in, guns blazing' or lone wolf style of play, that's fine - there's absolutely nothing wrong with that approach, and there won't be any barriers blocking you from playing Battlefront in such a manner. For those that like to form an easily-identifiable team in a game that pits 20 against 20 though; DICE don't seem too bothered about providing support for that type of preferred approach. How much of an effect this will have on the final game's various modes and maps is still unclear, but you can kiss goodbye to ever coordinating a well-timed infiltration behind enemy lines when you can't even discern where the hell the rest of your squad are. No squad-based respawning either. Ugh.
