5. Balance Is Key
Indulging in just a little slice of confirmation bias for a second, roughly 90 per cent of my personal matches during the beta resulted in the gigantic AT-ATs obliterating the Rebel's shield generator. However, during my experience with the game during an aforementioned event, the Rebels won. Every. Single. Time. An affable rep for the game even told me during the painful queue time that the Rebel team had won every single match played since the doors opened. So all of that talk about The Empire being unfairly overpowered on the Hoth map? Total poppycock. However, that doesn't for a second mean that Battlefront isn't suffering greatly from imbalance. If you're on the Empire's side, you can get away with little to no communication - the AT-ATs automatically progress and your only task is to hinder the Rebels as much as possible. The Rebel team however, MUST hold the capture points and focus fire on the four-legged walkers to bring them down to avoid defeat. The former requires little to no strategy, the latter - well, you probably saw first hand several times what happened when Rebel players ignore their duties. Just another reason why Battlefront sorely needs a squad system.
