The cat is out the bag: there's a double-edged lightsaber in Fallen Order. Though it was kept out the marketing, it's pretty much an open secret right from the beginning of the game, as Cal's saber at the start has a destroyed bottom half, and you can fix it up as soon as you're given control of the Mantis.

Though the main plot requires you to go to Zeffo, it's best to go to Dathomir as soon as possible. You won't be able to make too much progress through the area until you're better equipped, but you will be able to find a workbench that let's Cal - rather unceremoniously may I add - complete his double-edged saber.

It's a great tool to have, and there's no reason not to track it down straight away.
