2. Your Lightsaber Is Fully Customisable, Right Down To The Hilt

This one is a little more par for the course when it comes to Star Wars titles, but it's perhaps the depth to the lightsaber customisation that may end up surprising players come November.

Before, most Star Wars titles featuring a customisable protagonist with a lightsaber allowed fans to customise the base hilt and the Kyber crystal (colour) of their weapon. So, if you're not partial to the old generic blue that Cal's using in Fallen Order, you should expect to be able to swap that for something else, right?

Correct. Fallen Order will afford players a selection of different colour lightsabers during their journey, with an orange one even included as part of pre-order promotions, but it gets better. According to Game Informer's Andrew Reiner, players will be able to customise their blade on what appears to be an extensive level, stating that the "blade color, design and more" are all interchangeable.

If there is more to the customisation than just the blade colour and hilt, then this would mean Fallen Order will feature a level of lightsaber customisation not included in any Star Wars game before. Now if only we could choose to wield two at once...
