Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 8 Beloved Characters Who Must Appear

The Inquisitorius is one of the oldest Expanded Universe ideas to be made canon, having first appeared in 1987 before being re-established in Rebels. They are a group of Imperial Dark Jedi, who in the Dark Times sought out, captured, or destroyed the survivors of Order 66.

The Inquisitors are perfect for Jedi: Fallen Order in so many ways. They’re of the correct time period for a start, in fact they only exist to hunt Jedi between Episodes III-IV - so their entire reason for being feels like a setup for this game.

While they are all strong Force users and lightsaber fighters, unlike Darth Vader they can actually be defeated. Their leader, the Grand Inquisitor, was actually killed by relative novices, so the Inquisitors would make perfect bosses in the game for players to take down. Lucasfilm have not said how many Inquisitors existed, so Respawn are free to introduce new ones for players to confront.

Finally, with the Inquisitors being all Jedi who turned to the Dark Side, the titular ‘Fallen Order’ might actually be referring to them. Could players actually join the Inquisitorius at some point in the game? That would certainly be a cool twist.
