This game was never going to not feature a cute robot as a major selling point, and true to form, Cal has the adorable droid companion BD-1 to aid him on his journey.

In addition to his appealing appearance, though, he's also a bit of a badass, saving Cal's bacon from Second Sister early in the game, and then having the gall to shock Darth Vader in the final sequence.

Hilariously, BD-1 possesses more personality than most of the game's actual living, breathing characters, and having him as your trusty helper throughout sure makes some of the more mundane traversal sections feel like less of a chore.
