Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - Every Major Character Ranked
1. Cere Junda
Cal's mentor Cere Junda is by far the most interesting and nuanced character in the entire game - if you can accept her slightly bug-eyed, uncanny valley-esque appearance, that is.
Though initially presented as a stern ballast for Cal, she evolves into a vulnerable, likeable character as her backstory is gradually unfurled, namely that she's a former Jedi Master who cut herself off from the Force after losing Trilla to the Dark Side.
Debra Wilson gives the most remarkable performance in the entire game, and it's telling that Cere is so, so much more compelling a hero than Cal, so it's a shame she doesn't get much of an opportunity to venture out in the field.
It's neat to see her kitted out in Jedi garb in a brief flashback, though, and she gets a strong showing vending off Vader in the final sequence.
Plus, she mercifully lives to fight another day rather than getting a cliched redemption death at the eleventh hour, which was nice.
Cere is one of the game's few characters who truly feels sufficiently fleshed-out with a complex personality and affecting backstory, so she effortlessly takes the #1 spot.
