Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy PS4 Review
Multiplayer Strikes Back
When fans look back on Jedi Academy, most will get straight to the multiplay and reminisce over huge lightsaber duels which were chaotic, but yet extremely fun. This was in part due to the phenomenal work LucasArts did with this generation of Star Wars game and how on point Lightsabers were handled.
Take that one cool scene in Attack of The Clones where it was 212 Jedi vs thousands of Battle Droids, but remove the droids and you're halfway there already. It is an assault on the senses and an exhilarating time.
Though it must be noted that on console right now this mode is a rough time. PC players who have been playing since 2003 can find their way into this mode. Think that one scene where Anikan slaughters younglings and you get the idea of what goes down at the moment.
If mass anything goes battles don’t take your fancy, then Academy has a mode for more sophisticated players as well. The Duel mode is basically, winner stays on, but with Lightsabers as all other players watch. And lasting a few opponents here won’t only because for bragging rights, but lets anyone feel like a true Jedi Master.
