Street Fighter: 10 Worst Characters EVER (And Why)

8. Dudley

Despite Street Fighter II's solid roster, Balrog sticks out like a sore thumb. The heavyweight boxer's special moves are punch and... punch. However, the powerhouse pugilist makes up for his lack of variety with his brute strength and a headbutt that can eat up half of his opponent's health bar.

Instead of bringing back Balrog for Street Fighter 3, Capcom introduced a new boxer called Dudley. What's Dudley like? Well, he's like Balrog except he sucks. He doesn't have many devastating attacks so relies on chipping away his opponent's health bar.

Dudley's close-range attacks are serviceable but the well-mannered socialite can be defeated with ease from afar since he has no long-range attacks. Since he doesn't rely on his legs, he doesn't have many lower attacks, making him a predictable opponent.

Dudley was balanced a little better in SFIV but some of his moves are telegraphed so badly, it's like the British boxer is asking to be knocked off his feet. Since Balrog is a playable character in SFIV as well, it seemed pointless to insert this pitiful ersatz in the same game as well.
