The game balance changes aren't just limited to new anti-airs; every single character in the game has seen a change in balance. With over NINETY TWO PAGES of changes on Capcom's official website, it's clear that Capcom hasn't slouched at all in the competitive rebalancing department.

The entire game is now leaning towards being slightly slower, with moves being slower and recoverable life coming back far less fast - which should reduce mindless spam and "randomness" in the game. On top of that, many characters who were considered the strongest have had their biggest tools altered.

Just for an example, R. Mika, considered to be one of the strongest, peskiest characters in the game, no longer gets to create an invisible wall bounce from her Irish Whip. Now that her Whip can no longer tag people into a giant, corner-carrying combo from the middle of the screen, she'll have to work that much harder.

Other characters such as Chun Li and Ryu have been taken down a peg (more on Ryu's changes later - it's a big one), but luckily, almost every character has been given new tools to offset their missing ones, meaning they aren't going to be out of the fight any time soon.
