Street Fighter 5 Season 2 Launch: 7 Ups & 3 Downs
6. Proper Music Selection
The public beta of Street Fighter V had one peculiar, small feature that never made it into the full game - the ability to select what music you listen to in certain modes. While this sounds like a really minor addition, it's a feature that even Street Fighter 4 allowed you to play with, so it's really just high time that Capcom has finally reintroduced it.
Street Fighter V has two soundtracks- songs for stage music and individual character themes, but until the update came to drop, you could only listen to one or the other in certain modes. Offline Versus had stage themes, Ranked and Casual Online had character themes. This rule was set in stone, totally unchangable.
Now that we're in season two, we're now finally able to alter this, being able to set the music choices individually for Ranked, Casual, Offline, and Survival. Neat!
If you're constantly playing Ranked online like I am, this is a lifesaver. Ken's theme has been burned into my memory from so much overplay, that if I never have to hear the guitar riff intro again, I'd easily pay money for this free feature.
