As much as I'd love to be proved wrong, Sakura's chances of making the initial 16 now (with only two spots left) are pretty much nil. With her rival from the Alpha series of games (Karin) having been recently announced, there's a high chance that'll she'll be returning at some point for story reasons, but as to when that'll be? Your guess is as good as mine. If the long-standing rumour that Street Fighter V takes places after all previous entries chronologically turns out to be true, then Sakura could well turn up looking and behaving rather differently. I'm not just talking about a change in hair colour either. Sakura could very well return as a twenty-something woman who's finally figured out how to expel a Hadouken that doesn't fizzle out after travelling forward a meagre two feet. While we're at it, I think it's about time we get rid of the school uniform and give the poor girl something a little more fitting. Considering she's a student of a reluctant Ryu, it would be great to see her rocking a Gi like her comrades.
