Street Fighter X Mega Man: 5 Reasons You Should Be Excited

1. It's Not Developed by Capcom

It's no minority opinion that Capcom has seen better days when it comes to their gaming output. Between Resident Evil 6, Street Fighter X Tekken and the cancellation of two highly anticipated Mega Man games, Capcom seems to have lost touch with what their fanbase wants out of the properties they develop. That's why Street Fighter X Mega Man is something to feel hopeful about because it's developed by people who have grown up with love for the franchises, and want nothing more than to do them justice. Although Capcom has thrown their support behind the creators of Street Fighter X Mega Man, the development of the game hasn't been affected by their involvement at all. Maybe this will be how Capcom can figure out what they need to offer their supporters, and if so then I'm all for it. Capcom used to be one of the most respected and beloved developers in all of gaming, and lately they've turned into a caricature of their former self. Street Fighter X Mega Man could be the turning point where Capcom returns to putting out quality products that please both the fans and the average gamer. Are you excited for Street Fighter X Mega Man? Who do you hope to see in the epic crossover? Do you think it's just another lame fan-mod? We want to know!
