Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - 10 Things It Must Do
1. Be Distinct
The Arkham games, particularly Arkham Knight, were pretty distinctive, but this demand begs saying in a world where Square Enix's grey, muted Avengers game exists.
Rocksteady needs to give a unique flavour to their take on the Suicide Squad, whether that ends up being a neon-soaked fever dream like the trailer for 2016's Suicide Squad movie attempted to present the property as being, a more grounded yet still somewhat whimsical tone to match the comics, or something altogether unique.
It really does not matter, as long as it is interesting and recognisable as Rocksteady's Task Force X, just as the PS4 Spider-Man is instantly recognisable as Insomniac's creation. Because if not, then why have Rocksteady, or any other developer for that matter, develop it in the first place?
