1. BEST: Slaparazzi

The early consensus seems to be that everybody and their mum loves Slapparazzi, and it's easy to understand why. In each round, a Koopa Troopa leaps onto a random stage in order to take a photo, at which point players must rush to enter the middle of the frame, while slapping other players out of the way in the process.

Points are awarded on the basis of your position within the frame, and the resulting picture itself is often hilarious.

This is the essence of everything a Mario Party minigame needs to be: competitive, funny, featuring numerous rounds and having a cheeky little edge to it. It doesn't get any better than this.
