Superman: 10 DC Games Rocksteady Should Make Instead

4. John Constantine

John Constantine has been in and out of the public eye for the last decade now, and with appearances in film and TV having cemented him at the forefront of DC's heroes, it's time he make the leap to gaming (again).

Yes, while 2005's THQ movie tie-in may have marked the first appearance of DC's premier occult detective in video games, it wasn't particularly good. A lot of that comes down to the fact that it was based entirely on the terrible movie adaptation (sorry, Keanu), but obviously Rocksteady would look to the comics first and foremost were they to make a Constantine title.

The supernatural scouser pretty much wrote the book on DC's Vertigo imprint back in the day, and though there are certainly other occult characters to choose from in DC's library, including the likes of Doctor Fate and Zatanna, John is the main man.

Plus, there was that easter egg from Arkham Knight, so he definitely exists in the Arkhamverse too.
