Superman: 10 DC Games Rocksteady Should Make Instead

5. Green Lantern Corps

The fact that 2011's Green Lantern managed to so horrendously tarnish the character's legacy is damn near unforgivable, but that shouldn't mean he's locked away forever. The Green Lantern Corps have featured in some of DC's greatest tales, and considering Hal Jordan was the dullest member of them all, DC need not retread the beats of the Martin Campbell movie.

Fans of Justice League in particular will be able to recall the exploits of John Stewart, an ex-marine turned Lantern voiced by prolific voice-actor Phil LaMarr. He's also the perfect candidate to lead a space-faring GL title, and with fellow Lanterns like Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz to choose from, Rocksteady wouldn't be short of options to bring in other playable characters.

The main difficulty with GL is that he's able to create anything with his mind. Limiting that sense of imagination for the player by allowing them to choose from a pre-planned list of constructs already throws a spanner in the works, but as long as new moves are unlocked - and that there are variations between the different characters - combat should be able to boast a lasting appeal.
