27. Panda/Kuma

The loveable pair, I've included them together as besides a Rage Art, Kuma and Panda are identical.

That said, Namco knocked it out the park with Kuma this time round. He finally has some ace animations like strolling up to battle, fish-in-hand, and ending fights with a baseball-swing of yet another fish, walking a strange line between 'legit badass' and 'so stupidly OTT you just have to love it'.

Panda on the other hand has gone into full cute-mode, still being Xiayou's pet, but very much being the "D'aww" to Kuma's "Roarrrr".

Both retain the majority of moves you've come to know and love - the rolls, the side-swipes and the double axe handles - but that can only get such a staple character so high.
