Tekken 7: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
12. Paul Phoenix
If Tekken characters were dinners, Paul is the Sunday roast. He's a Motorhead, an AC/DC, a perfect summation of base expectation always being upended just that little bit by the end product. You always know what you're going to get, but when you do, it's awesome.
Indeed, Paul is one of the most basic all-round fighters when it comes to his moves and aesthetic, yet there's a sense of lovability TO that simplicity that makes him a firm fan favourite.
Whether it's low-kicks, rolling heels, twisting arm drags or THAT charged power punch, Paul Phoenix always delivers. That also means he's seldom changed in 20 years, but then again, neither has the Sunday roast.
