3. Yoshimitsu

Actually receiving a complete rework in Tekken 7 for the first time in years, this newest incarnation of Yoshimitsu is the most balanced and considering of the bunch.

Still capable of burning health to evade instantly or rotate around opponents, you've now got access to two different blades for differently distanced attacks, his old-school charge-stab, hovering blows, a sitting stance for launchers, repeated elbows, back-slaps - it just goes on and on.

Granted this is a character who built their reputation on being quirky-yet-effective, but the amount of time invested in reigning together all those different modes of play into one focused machine is truly impressive.

Yoshimitsu mains have some work to do getting their head around how much of him has been changed, but ultimately, it's for the better.
