Each film adaptation of Batman shows the Caped Crusader throwing fists and Batrangs at the scum of the underworld. Bruce Wayne is shown to be at the peak of human performance and a world-class warrior. The Dark Knight trilogy gave us a Batman steeped in ninjutsu. Bat-fleck was more of a brutish hero. Robert Pattinson's fight choreography seems to have been pulled straight from the games.

The Arkham games all utilize chain-fighting, gadget-heavy combat. Batman flows from foe to foe, using aggression, grace and gadgets to engage groups of violent thugs. One strike sets up the next, resulting in beautiful, fluid beatdowns. One particularly nice touch is that both versions of Batman also snatch weapons from their attackers and beat them with their own bats and pipes. Watch the fight scene in the Iceberg Lounge (another nod to the games) as Batman fluidly trounces oncoming henchmen, and knocks one of them unconscious with his own lead pipe.

Since Pattinson's Batman is only in his second year, we don't see some of the flashier gadgets of Arkham City or Arkham Knight, but we do get shock gloves, a Batarang and grapple gun all used to quash the ruffians of Gotham.
