The Division 2 Review: 10 Ups & 4 Downs

5. The Stunning Graphics

Make no mistake, The Division 2 is one hell of a handsome game.

Played in 4K HDR on PC, this is quite probably the most visually impressive AAA looter shooter ever made. Volumetric lighting is absolutely stunning throughout, and even with a few-dozen hours logged, the "wow" factor has yet to wear off.

It helps immensely that the game's art direction is masterful, complimenting best-in-class world design to make traversing Washington an absolutely intoxicating experience.

Walking through the empty D.C. streets the morning after a rain storm and observing how absurdly photo-realistic the damp pavement looks is a simple pleasure, perhaps, but one that many players won't soon forget.

In terms of heightening the immersion, the game's first-rate visuals do a remarkable job.
