The Division 2 Review: 10 Ups & 4 Downs

6. Solo Play Is Also Great Fun

Though there's no denying that the game was built for four-player squads, those who prefer to go it alone shouldn't be deterred either.

To be clear, The Division 2 is a much tougher experience solo, especially if you encounter the aforementioned skill bug, but thanks to the crunchy gunplay and generous array of combat options open to the player, it's still a ton of fun.

It's tough to imagine many bothering with the game if they're strictly in the market for a single-player campaign - especially as the forgettable narrative might prove more of an issue without the boost of the multiplayer experience - but for those who do, there's still plenty here to enjoy.
