The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Things Bethesda Must Include

4. A HUD That Indicates Size, Range & Height Of Enemies In Relation To You

Mostly put in place to highlight the gorgeous visuals, the TES series' minimalist HUD can occasionally do more harm than good.

I'm sure you've had many times where you're clearing out a given area, only for one red dot to be left on the overhead bar, forever seeing you chase it around the world, not knowing if the enemy is above, below or even a few meters away.

This minimalist approach can stay, we just need a set of specific icons instead of red dots to indicate enemy placement. Even if they're locked behind some sort of 'Awareness' perk or a spell related to pinpointing enemies, give us small arrows or scaled sizes of icons to represent height and distance away from the player.

Oh, and Bethesda, try to make sure an enemy is auto-killed if they fall through a wall or the floor. That stuff is getting a bit ridiculous, and only ends up breaking quests.
