The Evil Within 2: 6 Ways To Make It 2017's Best Horror Game

3. Fix The Rogue Camera

In The Evil Within, you truly felt alone because of there being little to no help. For Sebastian, this was terrifying because of his friends and acquaintances being missing, leaving him isolated in a disorientating haunted house. Alternatively, for players, it resulted in tantrums because of the supposed-to-be-an-ally camera being rogue.

The camera was cumbersome, and it always felt as if you were fighting it alongside the dozens of zombies. Truthfully, instead of the terrifying monsters, it was the misbehaving camera's fault for most of the astronomical death tally.

This was because the camera would routinely become stuck in awkward spots, and, due to being so tight on Sebastian's back, it would assist the zombies by allowing them to constantly sneak up and bombard you unexpectedly at all times from behind.

It needs to be zoomed out more, as well as a lot smoother and easier to control. Moreover, Tango Gameworks need to get it right from the beginning. They cannot implement a similarly horrible field-of-view, and then resolve it months later because of audience backlash.
