The Future Of Pokémon: X & Y

We will see, as we do every year, a new TV series, and I think with all the changes we expect to see with Pokémon, we could be in for one of the most interesting seasons yet. We have already seen one new interesting change made to the Anime, that being Pokémon Origins.

Origins is going to be the first of its kind for the franchise, with the protagonist no longer being Ash, but it involving the tales of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games. The story of Pokémon Origins revolves around the original 151, and was something created entirely for the fans who have been there since the very beginning, possibly as a reminder to show they have not forgotten about us.

The new yearly installment of the Pokémon TV series will also see Ash once again travelling around Kalos, as his Pikachu, which is at least lvl. 100 by now, gets its arse kicked by newbie Pokémon. We will also see him alongside new companions, in an apparent trio no less with Clemont, Bonnie, and Serena helping Ash on his travels to be the very best. In my opinion, the anime has been quite hit and miss, and I found myself dipping in and out of various series.
