The Last Of Us 2: 10 Secret Locations & Easter Eggs You Missed
9. The Mirror In The Museum
Fondly remembered as one of the best sequences in the game, Joel and Ellie's museum adventure is packed with heartfelt moments, dumb jokes, and a goofy charm that sums up why people love the duo's relationship so much.
As well as dinosaur skeletons and jokes at Tommy's expense, the sequence has cowboy hats, cowboy hat tossing, a reluctant Joel in a cowboy hat, and Ellie in a cowboy hat. With all this epic cowboy hat action going on, it's easy to miss the toilet at the back-right of the museum, on the ground floor.
In the toilet is a mirror, and if you approach it you can control Ellie's face and make all sorts of funny faces. It's way more fun than it sounds, and makes for another goofy moment in Ellie's history, and it's a nice touch having Joel smiling in silent approval by the door. It perfectly sums up their relationship without uttering a word.
The mirror isn't integral to the game's plot, or the flashback sequence, but it's a great missable character moment all the same.
