The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: 12 Critical Reactions You Need To Know

5. The Voice Acting Could Be Better

"The English voice acting - sparingly used, thankfully - is stiff and cheesy." - Eurogamer
"Most of the dialogue is still plain text but the most important sequences do feature proper voiceovers. The acting is not always great, but the mix of styles works well enough." - Metro

It's been both peculiar and concerning to many Nintendo fans that Breath of the Wild features actual voice acting, and somewhat unsurprisingly, the results are pretty mixed.

There's an undeniably novel appeal to hearing these characters speak (though not Link, who remains mute throughout), though it's apparently not without some accompanying cringe-worthy deliveries.

Hopefully Nintendo will take the feedback on-board for the next Zelda game, even though this isn't really a big deal at all.
