4. Spent A Fortune On Expansions
The Sims games generally hold their value, courtesy of the endless similarities in gameplay, and it's going to cost you a small fortune to collect all of the base games, spinoffs and expansions - but that doesn't matter to you.
A casual flick through our friend Wikipedia tells us that the original Sims title had a total of seven expansion packs, seven compilation packs and three console variations (including the utterly awful Urbz).
If we consider that the core game retailed for around £40 at the time, along with £25 (at least) for each expansion/compilation, you're looking at a total spend of £215 assuming there's been no appreciation in value over seventeen years.
Add in the rest of the games and expansions and you might need a Rosebud of your own…
