The Witcher 3 has no shortage of excellent female characters, and Geralt's brief encounter with Rosa Var Attre is more than enough to show that she is worthy of being considered in such company. The White Wolf meets Rosa while searching for Dandelion and he proceeds to spar with her under the guise of being her fencing teacher.

Rosa is a quick learner and a very keen student. She quickly wants to take her new skills into the field and evades Geralt as she escapes in search of danger. Once she finds it, however, it becomes the Witcher's responsibility to dispatch them before the two talk about their fate. After this the feisty Rosa departs, never to been seen again.

Aside from the character of Rosa, one of the things that was so memorable about this quest was the way it subverted the expectations of its players. There are myriad questions and comments from gamers asking whether there's a way of enticing Rosa into Geralt's arms at the conclusion here, but all askers are disappointed to find that it isn't possible.
