The Witcher 3: 10 Biggest Secrets & Hidden Locations You Need To Find

9. House Of Respite Near Nilfgaardian Army Camp

If you've opened up the map of Velen (which you most definitely have if you've spent more than a few hours with the game), then you'll have noticed the large, gridded area in the south-east corner. This is a large Nilfgaardian army camp, pitched to keep the Temerians at bay. Some players have managed to jump the fence into the camp itself, but it's essentially an undesigned wasteland filled with glitchy tents that you can run straight through, and little else. However, near the camp is the House of Respite, a fenced-off building guarded by a couple of Nilfgaardian heavies. Now, there is a way to glitch yourself into its grounds, but if you do that then best of luck in getting out again. The sensible way to get in there is to buy some Nilfgaardian clothes off the mask-selling elf near Novigrad. Once you've done that, the guards outside the House of Respite stop caring about the fact that you're a filthy white-haired witcher and let you wander right in. There are quite a few people here, but nothing to actually do except bumble around and soak up the Nilfgaardian atmosphere - though different things happen depending on whether it's day or night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCc54V9n-4M
