Blunt is one of the best actresses working today. She's a hot commodity, and she always finds herself somewhere on a fan's casting list for SOMETHING. She can do vulnerable and sensitive, and on a dime, she can switch to intense, powerful, and authoritative. All of that is wrapped up in a cloak of world-weariness - her eyes betray an old soul who's seen far more than she should have.

Sadie Adler is a broken woman. The atrocities committed against her and her late husband tore her apart, only for the Van Der Linde Gang - and a healthy dose of righteous anger and ferocity - to put her back together. The old Sadie Adler was long dead by the time the credits rolled. In her place was a warrior - a fighter with no place in the world, going where the wind took her in search of meaning.
