Titanfall 2 Review - 6 Ups & 5 Downs
3. Multiplayer Is Slick, Frantic & Totally Awesome
While the online multiplayer offering sadly doesn't innovate all that much, that doesn't mean it's in any way bad, still serving up the smooth, fast-paced, utterly unique and ferociously addictive destruction fans desire.
It doesn't have the epic appeal of Battlefield 1's mass-scale battles, but it compensates with gloriously over-the-top Titan warfare, a bewildering sense of speed, and a style of play that's easy for casuals to get into but difficult to truly master.
Fans will also be pleased to know that customisation feels deeper than the first game, and it takes much longer to reach Regeneration this time around.
